Kelso Rotary
2007-2008
Club Goals
Membership
- To increase the
membership in Kelso Rotary by 5% of the total of members as of June
30, 2007, with the new members being people who are dedicated to service
in Rotary. This will be done in part by encouraging current members
to recruit new members within the community, identifying new people
moving to the community and recruiting those people and formally acknowledging
those members who bring in new members.
- Actively get those
new members involved in club activities. Assign new members to
participate on committees. Focus on membership retention and satisfaction.
Service Projects
- Duck Race – Sell
6,000 tickets to the race.
- Food Wagon – Continue
to use the food wagon to promote fellowship and raise funds for the
club.
- Human Services –
Follow committee recommendations to donate $6,000 to programs that support
local youth and community needs.
- Walk & Knock

committed to construction on this project.

Operate at least two sites in one day for the Salvation Army (bell ringing
for raising funds for Christmas).

to Rotary Youth Leadership Academy.

and merit scholarships in amount of $10,000.

meetings.
- Coordinate at least

- Continue to have
the Kelso School District publish the Rotary newsletter for distribution
bimonthly.
- Have the attendance
reflect true attendance numbers, not to include members who no longer
participate or pay dues.

gathering outside of normal meeting time to include spouses of Rotarians.
